Rumours East

Our first supper in Nashville was an enchanting experience at Rumours East. Rumours East is a full-service restaurant and bar under the guise of a cozy 1900’s Victorian house located in the Historic East End Neighbourhood of East Nashville, Tennessee. They are consistently recognized as the best outdoor dining experience and patio in Nashville.

Recommended Large Dish:

Grilled Swordfish: Melt-in-your-mouth and seasoned to perfection, this comforting dish came with Filipino street corn, frisee and fresh avocado.Rumours East is a good pick for an intimate meal for two as well as larger groups wanting to enjoy fine dining in the heart of the historic Lockland Springs, Nashville.

Rumours East has a charming interior and breathtaking outdoor dining area. Since opening, they have evolved into a pre-prohibition style craft cocktail bar serving seasonal chef inspired cuisine.

The staff welcomed us with warm smiles and was very attentive to our requests and the pace of the meal. The exceptional customer service at Rumours East along with its heartwarming ambiance is certainly part of this restaurant's legacy.

If you are looking for a place to compliment an evening’s conversation in a setting designed to be a gathering place to celebrate life and all things exceptional, Rumours East is the place. Be sure to indulge in their comprehensive assortment of cocktails designed by their bar staff yet rooted in the tradition of pre-prohibition classics.

Recommended Side Dish:

Cast Iron Crab Cakes: These were hands down the best crab cakes we've ever had the privilege of eating! It was the perfect balance of a light crispy exterior and soft interior heavenly crab. Accompanied by a sweet chili comeback sauce, this dish is a must-have.
